From the North:
Take the Adirondack Northway (Rte. 87) South to the end at U.S. Rte. 20. Turn right at the light on US Rte. 20 and travel west for approximately 8 miles to the intersection of Rte. 146. Turn left at the light on Rte. 146 and travel south for approximately 4 miles to the Village of Altamont. The Fairgrounds entrance is on the left.
From the South:
Take the New York State Thruway (Rte. 87) North to Exit 24. After going through the toll plaza, immediately bear right and take the first exit to Adirondack Northway (Rte. 87) South and travel south for approximately one half mile to the end at US Rte. 20. Turn right at the light on US Rte. 20 and travel west for approximately 8 miles to the intersection of Rte. 146. Turn left at the light on Rte. 146 and travel south for approximately 4 miles to the Village of Altamont. The Fairgrounds entrance is on the left.
From the East:
Take the Berkshire Spur of the New York State Thruway (Rte. 90) West to Exit B1. After going through the toll plaza, continue straight on Rte. 90 and travel west for approximately 12 miles to the intersection of the Adirondack Northway (Rte. 87) [Note: The exit for the Northway southbound is the last exit on Rte. 90 before entering Exit 24 of the New York State Thruway]. Take the exit for the Adirondack Northway (Rte. 87) South and travel south for approximately one half mile to the end at US Rte. 20. Turn right at the light on US Rte. 20 and travel west for approximately 8 miles to the intersection of Rte. 146. Turn left at the light on Rte. 146 and travel south for approximately 4 miles to the Village of Altamont. The Fairgrounds entrance is on the left.
From the West:
Take the New York State Thruway (Rte. 90) East to Exit 24.
