Greetings Clan & Societies Representatives!!

We cordially invite you to participate in our Highland Games, Saturday, September 3, 2022, held at the Altamont Fairgrounds, Altamont, NY, about 20 minutes from Albany, New York. Games will be held RAIN OR SHINE.

The field will be open on Friday (Sep. 2^nd ) between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm for early setup. On Saturday you will be allowed to drive your car in to the clan area between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00 am. We recommend you use Gate 1, which is closest to the Clan area. If you arrive after 9:00 am on either day you will have to walk your gear in or we will attempt to access a golf cart to help you move your gear. All cars must be removed from the field before 9:00 am. There will be reserved parking in the general parking area unless you are in possession of a handicap parking pass issued by a state DMV. For those of you who have been with us in past years, please note that the Clans & Societies area will be at the North end of the fairgrounds near the Beer Tent. Please look for signs when you arrive.

The registration fee for Clans and Societies is $15.00
For this fee, The CDSG will provide:

Tent Space in the clan area. (if needed, a $30.00 fee will reserve 2 tent spaces)
Two complimentary tickets for Saturday, September 3, 2022 and one vehicle pass.
A crowd of up to 10,000 to 12,000 in beautiful surroundings.
Competition for dancers, pipers, drummers and bands from the US and Canada.
20 – 30 bands typically compete in Grades II, III, IV and V.
Special events for children, as well as Scottish pop, folk, and rock groups in concert.
Genuine Scottish food and goods – The Games are the best place to shop for all your Scottish needs!
Clan Exhibit Contest (Contest for Clans Only)

**Please note that all vehicles must be off the field by 9am Saturday 9/3/22**

Other Information:

Limited camping on the ground for participants. Note: the camping area can be noisy for light sleepers, due to exuberant youth and keyed-up competitors. Visit our onsite camping page to make camping reservations.

What you provide:

Tent(s), chairs, tables, exhibits, equipment and personnel to staff your tent from 9am to 5pm.
